Following the announcement that "The Flash" will feature the female Doctor Light, alleged photos of the character have surfaced on Twitter, revealing an actress dressed in the trademark black-and-white ensemble (via ComicBookMovie.com). No details are yet known about the actress playing the role. CBR has reached out to Warner Bros. for comment.

Kimiyo Hoshi, the second person to take up the Doctor Light mantle, first appeared in Marv Wolfman and George Perez's "Crisis on Infinite Earths" #4. She was a brilliant but ruthless scientist, whose exposure to the star Vega gifted her with photokinesis, or the ability to control all forms of light with her mind. However, she requires a light source in order to use those abilities. She has not yet appeared in New 52 continuity.

In the show, Doctor Light will appear as a metahuman. She was mentioned in the "Arrow" season two episode "The Man Under the Hood," when Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) used a light-based weapon to stop Deathstroke (Manu Bennett). There's no word on when she will appear.

Additionally, Caitlin Snow appears to have a tender moment during the episode as well.

Also last night.
