Sharon Carter has only appeared in two films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but with connections to her great-aunt Peggy Carter and a blossoming romance with Captain America himself, fans are no doubt wondering when and where we'll see Agent 13 again.

When asked during the Television Critics Association's summer press tour whether Sharon Carter could appear in Avengers: Infinity War, alongside just about every other character to ever suit up in the MCU, Emily VanCamp told journalists, "No idea." Of course, with Captain Marvel set to take place in the 1990s, there's always a chance we see Sharon Carter's early days as an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. “You guys put it out there,” VanCamp said.

“With Marvel, they can give you a call the day before you shoot. You don’t know what’s going on with their movies because they’re very secretive,” added the actor, who debuted as Sharon Carter in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. She reprised the role in Captain America: Civil War.

VanCamp revealed there were plans for her to guest-star on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but they never came to fruition. “I think it was discussed," she said, "but I was working on Revenge at the time.”

Returning January 2018 on ABC, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D stars Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Chloe Bennet as Daisy “Quake” Johnson, Ming-Na Wen as Melinda May, Iain De Caestecker as Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Jemma Simmons and Henry Simmons as Alphonso “Mack” Mackenzie.
