We've seen JARVIS, Ultron, The Vision and Friday fill out Marvel's cast of robotic characters in both film and television, but it seems a new name will soon be added to that roster -- or at least a new acronym.

Mallory Jansen ("Galavant," "Baby Daddy") will costar as AIDA in the upcoming fourth season of ABC's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.", according to TV Line.

Created by Mark Gruenwald and Bob Hall, Artificial Intelligence Data Analyzer -- AIDA -- made her comic book debut back in 1985 after being created by Tom Thumb of the Squadron Supreme on Earth-712. In "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.", she served as Doctor Holden Radcliffe's (John Hannah) assistant, and received a Life-Model Decoy at the end of last season.

Jansen joins a growing cast that includes Jason O'Mara as the new Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., Gabriel Luna as Robbie Reyes' Ghost Rider and Parminder Nagra as a yet-unnamed politician distrustful of the Inhuman outbreak. Fans can check out the newest additions when "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 4 debuts September 20 on ABC.
