AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.Clark Gregg spoke with Collider during the Saturn Awards, briefly discussing his return as Agent Phil Coulson in the upcoming "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." television show.

"I've only shot the pilot and there are still going to be some questions after the pilot and some things will be answered," Gregg told Collider. "I know in the pilot that it's the world after 'The Avengers' and people have seen Chitauri warriors and Asgardian warriors and a giant green rage monster battling like hell over the city of New York, and a lot of people want those powers and some of them aren't so nice."

Gregg also spoke with Nerdist about the show and the approach that it takes compared to the Marvel films.

"I've been in a bunch of different chapters in the Marvel universe," Gregg said. "'Iron Man' felt completely different from 'Thor.' [Jon] Favreau in many ways felt very different from Kenneth Branagh; also, they're both actors and both hilarious people. This chapter that is Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is less superhuman. It certainly focuses on the people that Agent Coulson represents, the vulnerable, extremely talented agents who are there to deal with the world after 'The Avengers,' where a lot of secrets have been revealed, and a lot of people want them."

Airs Tuesdays this Fall on ABC.

DOC SAVAGECollider spoke with Shane Black about his upcoming "Doc Savage" feature film, which he confirmed would be set in the 1930s.

"The line I so blithely tossed off, 'What if Jimmy Stewart were a stone cold killer,' is a bit misleading. Doc Savage had the abilities of a fighting machine but truly the soul of a pacifist," Black told Collider. "He always tempered his violent skills with kindness and a social conscience, preferring never to take human life. So, um, perhaps my quote should have more accurately read, 'potential' killer."
