Adult Swim Celebrates 15 Years of Stupidity With “Aqua Teen Hunger Force Forever”

For nearly 15 years, a trio of foul-mouthed fast food stuffs have kept Cartoon Network’s adult swim lineup chock full of lunacy. But come June 21, all that will start winding to a close.

That’s because this summer sees the final season of the anchor series “Aqua Teen Hunger Force.” After almost a decade and a half of animation style tweaks, alternate series names, a theatrical film and one of the weirdest fake terrorism scares in history, the “heroes” known as Master Shake, Frylock and Meatwad have remained a constant presence on the mature viewers cartoon block.

But the Williams Street production will soon say goodbye under the title “Aqua Teen Hunger Force Forever,” and to own up to the rather odd place that the show holds in American culture, the producers have released a new teaser highlighting some other phenomenon (real and imagined) that have gone by since the show debuted late in 2000.

“Aqua Teen Hunger Force Forever” bows June 21 at Midnight E/P on Cartoon Network.
