ABC has put out a pilot order for a new Marvel television series that centers on Adrianne Palicki's popular "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." character Mockingbird. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show -- titled "Marvel's Most Wanted" -- will focus on Palicki's Bobbi Morse and her on-again, off-again partner Lance Hunter, who is played by Nick Blood on the show.

Palicki and Blood were rumored to star in an "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." spinoff back in April. Now, however, the project is described as "a new take focusing on the same duo and their continuing adventures." Like the original spinoff, "Marvel's Most Wanted" will be helmed by "S.H.I.E.L.D." executive producer Jeffrey Bell, series writer Paul Zbyszewski and executive producer and Marvel TV head Jeph Loeb.

A third season of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." and a second extended season of "Marvel's Agent Carter" are both currently underway. In addition to both existing shows and this latest project, Oscar-winning "12 Years a Slave" screenwriter John Ridley is working on a Marvel Television for ABC.

It is unknown at this time when "Marvel's Most Wanted" will debut. Starring Clark Gregg, Chloe Bennet and Ming-Na Wen, "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season three premieres Tuesday, September 29 at 9 pm EST on ABC.
