ABC is looking to give "Fantasy Island" another shot. Make that another another shot.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the network is reteaming with Sony Pictures Television for what would be the third version of the drama, which originally aired from 1977 to 1984.

This new take will reportedly replace Ricardo Montalban's white suit-clad Mr. Roarke with a woman, who runs a San Francisco-based company that fulfills clients' most intimate, dark or outlandish fantasies. The project has received a script plus penalty order.

In the original, Montalban's enigmatic Mr. Roarke was the owner of a mysterious island in the Pacific where people from all walks of life could live out their fantasies, for a price. Hervé Villechaize played his sidekick Tattoo, whose excited exclamation of "De plane! De plane!" whenever guests arrived became an unlikely catchphrase.

ABC revived the series in 1988, with Malcolm McDowell playing Mr. Roarke. This version, which lasted for just 13 episodes, played up the underlying supernatural aspects of the original.
