Look, it lives! Lakeshore and Lionsgate have revealed the first official image of Aaron Eckhart in Stuart Beattie's I, Frankenstein.

Debuting in the Comic-Con International issue of Entertainment Weekly, the photo features Eckhart's Adam looking well put together, both because he's ripped and sports those crazy surgical scars, the remnants of a certain doctor's handiwork.

The film finds Adam, Frankenstein's monster, living in the modern age where he's pursued by a demon played by Bill Nighy and his henchman to discover the secrets behind reanimation. The story is based on a graphic novel written by Underworld creator Kevin Grevioux.

Eckhart joined the project in October 2011 and was followed by Yvonne Strahovski, Aden Young and Jai Courtney. The film was moved from September to its current Jan. 24 release date.
