Here is the latest in our year-long look at one cool comic (whether it be a self-contained work, an ongoing comic or a run on a long-running title that featured multiple creative teams on it over the years) a day (in no particular order whatsoever)! Here's the archive of the comics posted so far!

Today we look at Boston Comics Roundtable anthology, Inbound 4: A Comic-Book History of Boston.

Enjoy!

The Boston Comics Roundtable is, well, just like what it sounds, comic book creators from the Boston area, and Inbound is their anthology. I've reviewed an earlier edition of Inbound, and Inbound 4 is perhaps their best yet, especially as the concept behind it is so ingenious.

The idea is that each creator just tells a tale of Boston history, whatever they feel like.

The result is a ton of fascinating historical stories of Boston.

Of course, this being an anthology, some stories are better than others, but the general level of quality is quite high.

I was already a fan of a number of the creators involved (Tim Fish and Cathy Leamy, to name two), but there were lots of new folks to be fans of.

The group has shared three sample pages to give you an idea of what to expect...

By the way, there's a Dee Brown story in the book that I am sooo stealing for Sports Legends Revealed. Good stuff!
