Here is the latest cool comic book moment in our year-long look at one cool comic book moment a day (in no particular order whatsoever)! Here's the archive of the moments posted so far!

Today we look at a nice one-off issue of Neil Gaiman's Sandman involving the dreams of cats...

In this issue (Sandman #18, drawn by Kelley Jones), a cat speaks to a group of cats and tells the story of a journey within her dreams and her meeting with Morpheus (in the form of a cat)...

While most of the other cats are skeptical, one small kitten says that it will join the older cat in dreaming! The kitten asks a local cat if that cat believes in the story and the older cat says that, even if true, it would be impossible to ever happen, because no one could ever make a thousand cats do something all at once - cats are just not that controllable!

But at the end of the issue, we see at least one kitten has hope for a different tomorrow...

What a cool ending.
