Here is the latest cool comic book moment in our year-long look at one cool comic book moment a day (in no particular order whatsoever)!

Today we see one of the more memorable lines from Marvel Comics during the 60s...

Enjoy!

Avengers #58, by Roy Thomas and John Buscema, let us set the scene!

Vision was introduced in the previous issue, fighting the Avengers, but he broke free from his evil programming at the end of the issue, and now, in this issue, they debated whether to add him to the team. Before he could be added, the original members had to come by and see if they approved.

Finally, after some spirited tests, he gets inducted. The result of which is that he is so happy that he begins to get emotional - which leads to the last page, which tells us, in one of the more memorable lines from Marvel Comics during the 60s...

“Even An Android Can Cry!!”

One of Thomas' best issues of Avengers.

Very cool moment.

It's too bad Vision is not more of a major character nowadays like he was back then.
