In Preacher #27, Herr Starr is regrouping after suffering a defeat at the hands of Jesse Custer (with an assist from the Saint of Killers). Starr also received a head wound from Custer, so in Preacher #27, by the dynamic duo of Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon, Starr is regrouping after the incident (which did, at least, result in Starr becoming the head of his organization via his killing of the former leader)...

Good ol' Starr.
