Rodrigo Santoro, who reprises his role as the god-king Xerxes in 300: Rise of an Empire, will star opposite Will Smith in Focus, the Warner Bros. heist movie from directors Glenn Ficarra and John Requa.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film follows a con man played by Smith who becomes involved with a novice (Margot Robbie), only to be thrown off his game when she shows up as he's staging an elaborate heist in Buenos Aires. Santoro will portray the powerful owner of an international racing team who vies for Robbie's affections.

Focus begins shooting in October in New Orleans and Buenos Aires. 300: Rise of an Empire opens March 7, 2014.
